Drowning Prevention Week | Day 5

Bring your tot to the UBC Aquatic Centre on July 21st and dive into a lifetime of water safety!

Move through the leisure pool on an aqua adventure and learn water safety tips! Drowning Prevention Week instructors will teach you how to explore the pool safety with your little swimmer while practicing safe entries and exits and why it’s important to always stay within arm’s reach when near the water.

Instructors will also show you how to stay warm when getting out of the water, how to stay cool at the beach on a hot day, and how to rescue a choking child.

Want to keep swimming? Register for Red Cross Swim lessons or Waterplay at the UBC Aquatic Centre.

Don’t miss out on this free drop-in programming to learn how to keep yourself, your friends, and your family safe at the UBC Aquatic Centre – RSVP on Facebook!
