Wheelchair Basketball Drop-In

“Helping to implement and run this program has given me the opportunity to share my love of wheelchair basketball. During the first session, I was touched by the sounds of laughter and encouragement that filled the gym. I’m looking forward to seeing this program grow!”

Wheelchair Basketball is a Drop-In program at the SRC that runs every second Friday. To find out which Friday, check out the online drop-in schedule.

Drop-In Sports at the SRC

“At my first basketball drop-in there were a lot of really tall guys, and then just me – a girl in a wheelchair. Honestly, I did feel intimidated at first, but soon felt more in my element and have even made a few new friends! It’s truly a welcoming and inclusive environment.”

There are drop-in sports available almost every day in the Student Recreation Centre. Check out the online schedule for more details.
