UBC Aquatic Centre

I’ve never been much of a swimmer, but the new facility is so beautiful I’ve been going at least once a week since it opened. The first time I could only swim about 20 minutes, but I’ve been adding a few minutes each time I go!

Come visit us in our brand new facility! The UBC Aquatic Centre has a 50m competition pool, a 25m recreational pool, a leisure pool, spectator seating, a hot tub, universal change rooms, and more!

Storm the Wall

I remember my first Storm the Wall very clearly – I was so nervous! I was the cyclist, and even went out to practice the course turns. But once we were there I realized that I had nothing to worry about, and the feeling of accomplishment when we all got over the wall was unbelievable!

Get ready for one of UBC’s most iconic experiences! Swim, sprint, bike, run & STORM THE WALL! Participate as a Competitive or Just-for-Fun team, or challenge yourself to do the whole course on your own as an Iron Person.
