With a vast selection of programs available for members of all ages, we strive to provide opportunities for all members of our community to get moving. There are also discounts available for members of the University Neighbourhoods Association and Utown Community Services Card (CSC) holders.

Take a dip in the UBC Aquatic Centre

Swim lengths, bring your family to public swim, take an Aquacize class, or if you’re brand new to aquatics – learn to swim! This brand-new facility offers discounts for UNA and CSC members. To use your discount, simply bring your UNA or CSC card to the Operations Desk when you check in or have your ID information available for when you sign-up online. Free Week

January 8 – 14, 2018

Get moving with us in new and exciting ways! Try out instructional, fitness, and aquatics classes for free from January 8-14. Try out as many as you’d like to find the class right for you! Then be sure to register for your favourite classes to be guaranteed a spot. No experience is required for any of the classes and all abilities are welcomed. Check out the online schedule to pick which classes you’ll try this fall. When you go to register for your favourites, did we mention there’s a discount for UNA and CSC members?

Learn to Play Tennis!

The UBC Tennis Centre offers Adult 1.0 Clinics that are perfect for those looking to start a tennis journey and there are discounts available for UNA and CSC members. You’ll learn the rules, scoring, positioning, and all strokes of the game. These clinics also have no more than a 8:1 participant to coach ratio which ensures you get the attention you need with our world-class coaching staff. With sessions starting in September, October, and November and multiple days and times to choose from, sign up for a clinic that suits your busy schedule.

Drop-In Skating

Drop-in activities are available at a discount for UNA and CSC Community members at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre. Drop-in for skating or hockey with your family and friends! Check out the online schedule for ice times. Please present your UNA or CSC card at the Pro Shop Desk when you check in, or the regular drop-in rates apply.

Free for all UNA and CSC members

Free drop-in activities are available for UNA Community members at the UBC Student Recreation Centre. Check the online schedule for casual indoor sports including basketball, futsal, volleyball, and unique sports such as wheelchair basketball and cricket! The SRC gyms host a different sport nearly every day of the week. Please present your UNA or CSC card at the SRC Operations Desk when you check in or the regular drop-in rates apply.

With UBC Camps, it’s easy to build a day of fun centred around your child’s interests! Join us for a day of fun and engaging Pro-D Day activities, such as sports and games, arts and crafts, and exciting attractions on UBC campus. Space is limited so book your fall Pro-D day camps before they fill up!
