Welcome to UBC Recreation Outdoor programs!
Learn the basics of something new, improve on the skills you already have, or simply enjoy the outdoors with expert instructors in a variety of land- and water-based activities, including golfing, paddle-boarding, sailing, scuba diving, and whale watching. UBC Recreation strives to provide fun, hands-on outdoor experiences for novice and intermediate participants, and unless stated, no prior experience is necessary. If outdoor safety or fitness education peaks your interest, become certified with our Remote and Wilderness First Aid courses and online Fitness Knowledge courses from the Canadian Fitness Education Services (CFES).
