Welcome to UBC Thunderbirds Sport Clubs

The UBC Thunderbirds Sport Clubs (UBC TSC) are Athletics and Recreation’s newest competitive option for UBC student athletes. Launched in September 2015, UBC TSC currently features eleven sports and thirteen teams which include: Alpine Skiing, Cycling, Dragon Boat, Equestrian, Field Lacrosse, Quidditch, Sailing, Synchronized Swimming, Tennis, Triathlon, and Ultimate Sport Clubs.

USCSA 49 Degrees North Results

Last weekend the UBC Alpine Ski Team competed in the first slalom race of the season in Chewelah, Washington at 49 degrees North. The women competed on Saturday with freshmen Samantha Boughner coming in as our top athlete with a third place finish, and Anastasia Kiku not far behind in eighth place.

UBC TSC to host USA Alpine Ski Conference Race

UBC TSC Alpine Ski club will be hosting USCSA’s final conference race of their regular season at Grouse Mountain this weekend, before heading to regionals in Jackson, Wyoming. We hope to see the UBC community cheering them on as USCSA returns to B.C. for the first time in seven years.
