About the Team

The UBC Thunderbirds Tennis Sport Club – both Women’s and Men’s – is a competitive club consisting of 16 to 24 student-athletes. The team competes against other Canadian universities of both Varsity and Club level in the Canadian University and College League throughout the season. The ultimate goal of the Tennis Sport Club is to win Nationals while enjoying the game of tennis and improving during the season from September until March. For recruitment or donation inquiries please email us at tennis.sc@ubc.ca.

The team is made up of student-athletes who all share a passion for the sport of tennis and who wish to compete in tennis to represent UBC. • Attendance at important competitions such as; Regionals, Westerns, and Nationals (if team qualifies)
  • Attendance at fundraising events such as; October Tennis Mixer
  • Best efforts at all competitions, practices, and other events
