Welcome to UBC Recreation’s Free Week – a week when you can try out a variety of fitness programs and activities. Open to UBC Students, UBC Staff & Faculty, and the public, programs are available across several recreation facilities at UBC Vancouver’s Point Grey campus. No experience is required for any of the classes and all abilities are welcome!

How to Participate:

  • FREE advanced registration is required.
  • Registration opens 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time of each class.
  • Use your online UBC Recreation Login to sign-up.
  • Please arrive at the class location 5 – 15 minutes before the start time to check-in and claim your spot.
    • Note: after 5 minutes any unclaimed spots will be given to walk-ins who are on the waitlist.

Please note that spots in Free Week classes are limited. If the class you want to attend is full, please register for the waitlist to be eligible for walk-ins. Walk-ins are accepted 5 minutes before the class start time, and are subject to capacity.
